Use with compatible M10 right-hand threaded bolts, studs and fittings, ensuring the thread pitch matches the mating component. The rounded dome conceals the exposed threaded end, providing a decorative finish and reducing contact with protruding threads.
Ensure sufficient internal clearance within the dome for the protruding stud or bolt. Excessive thread length may prevent the nut from tightening fully against the mating surface. A2 AISI 304 stainless steel provides good general corrosion resistance. For marine, coastal or highly corrosive environments, A4 AISI 316 stainless steel is generally the preferred option. Tighten using a suitable spanner or socket, taking care to avoid overtightening.
