M6 Galvanised Hook & Eye Turnbuckle to DIN1480 - 166.051.006

Suitable for a range of general-purpose cable tensioning applications, including:

• Architectural Cable Systems – Adjusting tension in decorative and non-structural wire rope installations.
• Fencing & Wire Supports – Maintaining tension in suitable fencing and wire support systems.
• Display & Signage Systems – Providing adjustable tension for lightweight displays and signage where appropriately supported.
• General Cable Assemblies – Suitable for applications requiring adjustable tension and convenient hook-and-eye connections.

Before installation, ensure the turnbuckle is suitable for the intended application and compatible with the cable diameter and connecting fittings.

• Inspect for damage, wear or corrosion before use.
• Ensure both threaded ends are securely engaged within the turnbuckle body.
• Adjust tension evenly by rotating the central body, keeping the load aligned with the centre line.
• Ensure the hook is correctly seated and cannot accidentally disengage.
• Ensure the eye fitting is securely connected using compatible components.
• Avoid side loading, shock loading or forcing the turnbuckle into position.
• Keep threads clean and free from debris.
• Regularly check for wear, deformation, damaged threads or corrosion.

Important: DIN 1480 commercial turnbuckles are not rated for lifting. Do not use for lifting operations or safety-critical load-bearing applications without appropriate engineering verification.
