Suitable for use with 1.2mm - 1.25mm cable. Manufactured from Stainless Steel as specified in MIL-DTL-781 and certified to the appropriate standard(s). The expected strength regarding this type of end termination is 50% of the MBL of the wire rope. Testing must be performed to verify the strength of the assembly.

This fitting can be pressed using the YCP120C tool or the YCP240C. With compatible ball die fittings (4.8mm ball).

Test Results of BA3 Ball Terminals using single pressing action (pressed in one plane) with the YCP240C Hydraulic Crimp Tool. Using 3/64" stainless steel cable and BA3 Ball fitting 127.000.012, the fitting pulled off at 93 kgs - 205 lbs.
Using 1/16" stainless steel cable and BA3 Ball fitting 127.000.015, the fitting pulled off at 107 kgs - 235 lbs.
Test Results of BA3 Ball Terminals using 2 pressing action with the YCP240C Hydraulic Crimp Tool. Using 3/64" stainless steel cable and BA3 Ball fitting 127.000.012, the assembly broke at 124kg, 273 lbs. Using 1/16" stainless steel cable and BA3 Ball fitting 127.000.015, the assembly broke at 171kg, 377lbs
