The A4-AISI 316 Stainless Steel Catenary Eyeplate provides a robust anchorage point for catenary cable spans up to 10mm diameter, including installations across streets and public highways.

Manufactured from marine-grade stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance, the eyeplate is designed to span three courses of brickwork for effective load distribution.

Featuring an M16 stainless steel eyebolt, a maximum load rating of 700kg and a unique serial number for traceability, it is suitable for masonry and concrete installations.

Please Note: Wall fixings are not supplied with this product.

Applications & Advice

Typical Applications:

Catenary cable spans up to 10mm diameter
Festoon lighting and overhead suspension systems
Street and public highway installations
Marine and mooring applications, subject to load verification

Installation Advice:

Install onto structurally sound masonry or concrete using appropriately specified anchors. Where fixing into brickwork, position anchors within the bricks rather than mortar joints wherever possible.

Ensure suitable edge distances and anchor spacing are maintained. Installation should be assessed against relevant structural requirements and guidance, including the County Surveyors' Society Code of Practice where applicable.

Inspection & Maintenance:

Inspect anchor points at intervals not exceeding 12 months while in use, checking for loose fixings, corrosion, component wear and damage to the surrounding masonry.

Proof-load testing should be carried out where required by the installation specification.

Important: The 700kg maximum load rating does not replace assessment of the complete installation, including the wall structure, anchors and intended loading.
