TECNI® 3mm A4-AISI 316 Stainless Steel Thin Walled Stop - 208.606.030

Suitable for use with stainless steel cable in non-marine environments where a compact swaged stop termination is required.

Always ensure the ferrule size is compatible with the cable diameter and use suitable tooling and the correct swaging procedure to achieve a secure termination.

Swaging guidance:
When used with 3mm 7x7 stainless steel cable, press the thin-walled stop in one plane using a YCP120C hydraulic crimper with the die marked “2.5-3 SS”, then rotate the fitting to complete the swage.

Tested performance:
A termination produced using this method with 3mm 7x7 stainless steel cable has been proof load tested in-house to 220 kg.

Please note: The stated proof load relates to the specific cable, fitting and swaging method described above and should not be interpreted as a Working Load Limit (WLL) or Minimum Breaking Load (MBL).

End stops are not suitable for lifting applications. They are designed for suspension and locating purposes. The expected strength regarding this type of end termination is approximately 50% of the MBL of the wire rope. Testing must be performed to verify the strength of the assembly
