This M6 stainless steel rigging screw body is manufactured from A4-AISI 316 marine grade stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance for outdoor and marine environments. Designed for use with compatible M6 left-hand and right-hand threaded fittings, including eye, stud and jaw terminals, it allows precise adjustment of cable tension and assembly length.
The standard rigging screw body operates by rotating clockwise or anticlockwise to increase or decrease the overall assembly length, providing a versatile tensioning solution for wire rope and cable systems.

Suitable for catenary systems, balustrade installations, suspension cables and general wire rope tensioning applications where adjustable cable tension is required.
For installation, connect compatible M6 left-hand and right-hand threaded terminals, initially positioning both threaded sections approximately halfway into the rigging screw body. Rotate the body to adjust the assembly length and achieve the required tension.
Where swage terminals are used, the wire rope must be securely swaged into the terminals using suitable equipment and the correct swaging procedure.
