The M6 Right Hand Stainless Steel Dual Threaded Stud provides a durable, corrosion-resistant fixing solution for timber installations, including outdoor and architectural applications.

Featuring a 20mm metric thread and 47mm wood screw thread, this fitting allows easy installation and is ideal for cable balustrading, garden trellis systems and other timber-mounted fittings.

Also known as a wood-to-metal dowel screw or hanger bolt, it provides a secure connection for compatible M6 female-threaded components.

Always drill a suitable pilot hole to prevent timber splitting and ensure easier installation. The stud can be installed using a socket drive with a dome nut or two nuts locked together on the machine thread. Alternatively, the machine-threaded section can be secured directly into a drill chuck to drive the fitting into the pilot hole.

Use a low drill speed and torque setting to prevent damage to the threads.

Ensure connecting fittings have a compatible M6 right-hand female thread.
