The M6 Right Hand Dual Threaded Stud is manufactured from marine-grade A4 AISI 316 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance for outdoor and marine environments.

Featuring a precision-cut 35mm right-hand metric thread and 40mm wood screw thread, this fitting provides a secure connection for timber installations. It can also be used in masonry with a suitable nylon wall plug.

Also known as a wood-to-metal dowel screw or hanger bolt, it is suitable for a range of architectural and cable fixing applications.

Always drill a suitable pilot hole to prevent timber splitting and ensure easier installation. For masonry applications, use a suitable nylon wall plug. The stud can be installed using a socket drive with a dome nut or two nuts locked together on the machine thread. Alternatively, the machine-threaded section can be secured directly into a drill chuck to drive the fitting into the pilot hole.

Use a low drill speed and torque setting to prevent damage to the threads.

Ensure any connecting fittings have a compatible M6 right-hand female thread.
