Suitable for use with 8mm Galvanised Cable.
A wire rope thimble is used at the ends of wire rope to protect and maintain its strength when forming an eye/loop. This creates a smooth, strong surface to bend around. A thimble can prevent the loop from collapsing or deforming under a load.

The thimble itself does not hold the rope in place however are secured by using a ferrule or wire rope grips. Aluminium ferrules are recommended to use with electro plated/galvanised thimbles.
