3. TECNI pressing equipment options

YCP240C and YCF630 are offered with hexagonal dies only and must not be used for round swaging. Tool ranges are from TECNI's previously supplied stainless swage fitting tool guide, not from the dimensional reference tables. Matching dies, terminal design and approved pressing instructions must be confirmed with TECNI before use.

Important swaging guidance

This guide is limited to A4 / AISI 316 stainless steel terminals with stainless steel wire rope. The reference tables cover a wire rope fill factor of 0.52–0.78, single-layer round-strand steel wire rope, and a wire tensile strength of 1,570–1,770 N/mm². The listed constructions are 1×7, 1×19, 7×7 and 7×19. Constructions 6×12 (12/Fibre) and 6×24 (15/9 Fibre) are not suitable under these tables.

Do not use this chart to assign a breaking load or working load limit. Termination strength must be established through the applicable fitting instructions and verification testing. This chart does not establish suitability for lifting slings or load-supporting activities.

These reference dimensions are drawn from a particular AISI 316 terminal sizing system, not universal dimensions for all A4 / AISI 316 stainless steel swage terminals. Always verify the exact terminal, cable construction, pressing equipment, finished dimensions and approved procedure with TECNI before use.
