Applications & Advice

Suitable for cutting:

Up to 4mm (5/32") 7x7 wire rope
Up to 4mm (5/32") 7x19 wire rope
Up to 3mm 1x19 wire rope
Non-compacted steel wire rope with a maximum tensile strength of 1960N/mm²

Cutting higher-tensile or compacted wire rope is not recommended, as this may reduce the lifespan of the cutters and will invalidate the product warranty.

Technical Information

The TECNI® SCC-712 Cable Cutters are designed to cut non-compacted steel wire rope up to 4mm in 7x7 and 7x19 constructions, and up to 3mm in 1x19 construction. They are suitable for wire rope with a maximum tensile strength of 1960N/mm². For 4mm 1x19 cable, the TECNI® SCC-60 cutters are recommended.
