This heavy duty Type 50 chrome-plated Tecni-Grip jaw & plunger attachment will accommodate cable from 4mm-5mm. To install, simply insert the cable into the plunger & the cable is gripped by ball bearings inside the fitting for infinite adjustment. The fitting has a removable pin & is perfect for suspending heavy & bulky items for display purposes.

Important: Tecni-Grip holders are designed to be as strong as the range of cable diameters & constructions that they fit. A 10:1 factor of safety should be applied for all suspension applications & a minimum of two or more holders should be used for each suspension where possible. E.g. 5.0mm 7x7 galvanised cable Minimum Breaking Load (MBL) = 1620kgs with a Type 50 Tecni-Grip. The Working Load Limit (WLL) = 1620/10 = 162kgs.
