This compact, competitively priced, hand crimping tool comes with removable hardened steel dies for terminating 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm & 2.5mm TALURIT copper & aluminium/aluminum ferrules and Code 1.5 and 2 Stop ferrules. The crimper is excellent for manufacturing small, high strength assemblies on site & is really quick & easy to use. Crimping pliers are perfect for hanging signs, cable displays, small retaining lanyards, tagging cables, shop fittings etc.

Applications & Advice

Ferrule sizes 1.5 and above require two crimping operations with the tool. Crimp 50% of the ferrule and then move the die head along and crimp the remaining 50% of the ferrule. Dies can be reversed to increase crimping force for code 1 ferrules. When pressed using the recommended procedure, copper and aluminium ferrules will hold in excess of 90% of the nominal strength of 7x7 or 7x19 galvanized or stainless steel. It is strongly recommended that each manufactured assembly is proof load tested for any safety critical applications.
