Round Dies to Swage Stainless Steel Fittings  Code 3 Aluminium, Copper and Stainless ferrules

Provides strong reliable termination, once swaged the strength of the termination will be 90% of the minimum breaking load of the cable.

Safety-critical applications should be verified via testing.

Applications & Advice

  • Ball Dies - specifically designed for swaging Mil-Spec MS20664 Shank Ball Terminals & BA3 ball terminals from 0.8mm up to 5mm. Perfect for gym cable repair. 
  • Hexagon Dies - suitable for use with stainless swage fittings
  • Round Dies - or "straight dies" - perfect for swaging ferrules

Provides strong reliable termination, once swaged the strength of the termination will be 90% of the minimum breaking load of the cable for MS20664-C2 to MS20664-C6 Shank Ball Terminals, and 50% of the minimum breaking load of the cable for BA3-1 to BA3-6 swage ball fittings, in line with EN Standard 13411-4:2011 (Terminations for steel wire ropes). Safety-critical applications should be verified via testing. 


Please note that the YCP 240C comes with full Hex and Round die sets included. Ball Swaging Dies are sold separately.
