Ensure the ball fitting is compatible with the wire rope diameter and construction. Suitable swaging equipment and correct installation procedures must be used to achieve a secure termination.

The expected termination strength is 50% of the wire rope's Minimum Breaking Load (MBL). Testing must be performed to verify the actual strength of the completed assembly.

Testing was carried out using the YCP240C Hydraulic Crimp Tool with stainless steel wire rope to assess termination performance.

Single Press (One Plane)

• 3/64" Cable – 127.000.012: 93 kg (205 lbs) – Fitting pulled off.
• 1/16" Cable – 127.000.015: 107 kg (235 lbs) – Fitting pulled off.

Double Press

• 3/64" Cable – 127.000.012: 124 kg (273 lbs) – Assembly broke.
• 1/16" Cable – 127.000.015: 171 kg (377 lbs) – Assembly broke.

Note: Results are based on tested assemblies. Actual termination strength may vary depending on cable construction, tooling and installation procedures. Testing is required to verify individual assembly performance.
